Web-based Course on Recreational Asphyxia

The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) announced a live, web-based course, Recreational Asphyxia: Chemicals. This is the second of a two-part series on recreational asphyxia. This course addresses the topic of accidental deaths caused by chemical asphyxia in children and adolescents.

Register online to attend one of three online presentations:

  • July 24, 2012, 2pm ET
  • July 31, 2012, 10am ET
  • August 2, 2012, 2pm ET

This training is being presented by RTI, NIJ's Forensic Technology Center of Excellence.

Image Clarification Workflow

A FEW WEEKS AGO, I received a call from Ocean Systems asking if I would like to beta test their newest software—ClearID v2.0 Image Clarification Workflow. The new progam has filters that were designed for use with Adobe’s Photoshop graphics-editing program.
