Conference Scholarships Available

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) has awarded funding to support 10 scholarships for sworn law enforcement professionals to attend our 2014 International Conference on Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Trafficking in Seattle, Washington

Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis. These scholarships will cover the full cost of conference registration and up to $500 in travel expenses.

If you have an existing OVW grant, you can also check with your grant manager to see if any additional travel expenses can be covered by your grant.

Conference registration includes:

  • 3 days of training with leading national experts
  • 3 continental breakfasts and coffee breaks
  • 3 seated lunches


To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be from the U.S. States or Territories and work in the field of law enforcement. Because of the specific grant objectives for this OVW-funded project, applicants must be sworn law enforcement officers and have some responsibility for responding to or investigating sexual assault cases.
