Coroners, Medical Examiners to Meet in July 2017

The 2017 International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IAC&ME) Training Symposium, July 22-28, 2017, will bring together leaders in medicolegal death investigations to one location for training and education. This Annual Training Symposium will be a valuable opportunity to network with coroners, medical examiners, deputy medical examiners, and their staff. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with other professionals like yourself.

The IAC&ME has over 80 years of experience in the presentation of educational seminars for the purpose of assisting coroners, medical examiners, and other forensic specialists in the performance of their duties. Digital-Image Management at Mass Gravesites

SKELETONIZED REMAINS that were carefully unearthed from the desert sands of Iraq tell their own story: the bones of an adult, still dressed in a woman’s apparel, lie supine. The skull is perforated by a bullet hole. Tucked in the space between the ribs and the left humerus is a much smaller skeleton, bones in the skull un-fused, and the fully clothed body partially swaddled in a blanket.
