Prosecutors in Cosby Case to Speak at Conference

January 16, 2020 — At the 2020 International Conference on Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Violence Across the Lifespan, EVAWI (End Violence Against Women International) will provide attendees the opportunity to hear from three of the prosecutors involved in the Bill Cosby case.

According to EVAWI, the Cosby case served as a catalyst, compelling jurisdictions across the country to build similar cases against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and music artist R. Kelly. During this two-part session, the presenters will draw parallels between these high-profile cases and discuss overcoming roadblocks to successfully prosecute serial offenders.

The 2020 conference will be held April 14-16 in Washington, DC.

Bloodstain Pattern Analysis

Most forensic disciplines attempt to determine the “who” of a crime. But bloodstain pattern analysis focuses on the “what happened” part of a crime. This book is the third edition of Blood-stain Pattern Analysis. The authors explore the topic in depth, explaining what it is, how it is used, and the practical methodologies that are employed to achieve defensible results. It offers practical, common-sense advice and tips for both novices and professionals.
