ASCLD Announces New Innovation Award

January 9, 2020 — The Forensic Research Committee of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors announced the First Annual Innovation Award. The goal of the award is to recognize activities highlighting new technologies, protocols, or tools that impact operational U.S. forensic science laboratories.

The award is open to scientists from all disciplines in operational U.S. forensic laboratories who have performed the highlighted work in the past two years.

The winner will be recognized during the April 1st evening reception at the ASCLD Annual Symposium. They will receive a plaque and an individualized electronic award icon for use on letterhead, reports, e-mail signatures, and more.
