Scholarships Available for 2021 EVAWI Conference

November 18, 2020 — The organization End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI) recently announced that the Academy of Forensic Nursing (AFN) is sponsoring four opportunities for criminal justice professionals to attend their 2021 Virtual Conference on Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Trauma and Resilience.

The following scholarships are available:

  • 2 Law Enforcement Scholarships
  • 2 Prosecutor Scholarships

The AFN will also award three non-competitive scholarships for nurses, and plans to announce two competitive scholarship opportunities for advocates.

Each scholarship will cover the full cost of the conference registration. This includes:

  • Three full days of training with leading national experts
  • Electronic course material
  • Access to recorded content up to 90 days after the event
