New, free textbook available

A new, free publication on forensic science is now available in its 3rd Edition: the Concise Textbook of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, by Dr. R. K. Sharma.

Sharma is currently working as dean of the Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences in India. Although the text is clearly rooted in Indian legal procedure and protocol, it also provides a well-rounded overview of topics universal to forensic medicine and toxicology.

In his preface to the First Edition, Sharma writes: “This book has been written keeping in view needs of undergraduate students and it covers the whole curriculum as prescribed by Medical Council of India.”

The book can be downloaded for free here.
