Property and Evidence Certification Course

Property & Evidence Certification Course
February 15-16, 2012
08:00-17:00
San Francisco, California

Sponsored by the Colma and Burlingame Police Department

Excellence in your evidence room means detailed know‐how of handling property and evidence from intake to purging. In between comes legal understanding, organization, forms, regulations, keeping up with intake, and more. The Property & Evidence Certification Course provides in‐depth instruction for all aspects of fulfilling the Property and Evidence Specialist role. A Certification Exam is offered at the end of the course for experienced professionals to demonstrate their know‐how and receive recognition.

All property/evidence unit staff, full‐time and part‐time, will benefit from the Property & Evidence Certification Course. This course reviews, instructs, and provides up‐to‐date information for all property/evidence unit functions.

The 2‐day seminar concludes with a Certification Exam. Certification is a challenging assessment of detailed know‐how in property and evidence and a necessary achievement in every unit. Though all participants are invited to take the exam, professionals with a minimum of several months to one year of full‐time service in property/evidence will be most qualified.
