IAI Latent Print Certification Test Preparation Training
From Monday, June 25 2018
To Friday, June 29 2018
Every day

Sponsor: Ron Smith and Associates

Description: This course is specifically designed for experienced examiners who want to evaluate their ability to succeed on the International Association for Identification (IAI) Latent Print Certification test.  Only examiners who are eligible, or who will be eligible to apply for IAI Latent Print Certification in the near future should consider participating in this course.  SEE www.theiai.org for more information on certification.
It is important to understand that this course is not designed to teach how to conduct latent print comparisons or how to apply ACE-V methodology to the process, rather the testing of the students ability to compare, identify or eliminate latent prints to known exemplars and then evaluating their likelihood for success in a testing environment is the focus of this training.  A thorough review of all 3 components of the test, combined with a series of skill building exercises to prepare for the practice test on Thursday are all designed to allow each student to measure their own strengths and weaknesses with the help of two experienced and knowledgeable instructors as you prepare for the actual certification test.
