from Puritan Medical Products are certified free of human DNA contamination down to less than 25 pg, and also certified DNase free by Clean Earth Technologies of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The lack of even trace amounts of Human DNA or DNase make this line of swabs ideal for collection and transfer of even the most minute amounts of DNA. Currently, the Puritan DNA-Free product line includes cotton-tipped swabs, foam swabs, and nylon-tipped flocked swabs.

A new laboratory fume hood
from HEMCO Corporation is a low-flow, constant-volume hood. Added safety features include sash stops and an airflow monitor. This new energy-efficient hood is engineered to maintain fume capture with low face velocity. The HEMCO fume hood is designed to direct and maintain a smooth, uniform flow of air into the fume chamber and across the work surface. This airflow is ideal for delicate procedures and instrumentation. The low-profile air bypass fume hood features restricted bypass openings, which automatically redistribute air through the fume chamber as the sash is raised. The HEMCO fume hood is offered in 4, 5, 6, and 8-ft. widths.

Set up surveillance in remote

The infrared illuminated day/night camera makes it ideal for surveillance in dark surroundings.

A useful tool in any laboratory,
the Vacuubrand Tyro12 diaphragm vacuum pump from BrandTech Scientific features a full fluoropolymer flowpath to provide vacuum for many lab applications—including filtration, rotary evaporation, solid phase extraction, and more. An integrated gas ballast and sturdy construction provide excellent condensate tolerance.
