Webinar: Ethics in Forensic Nursing

July 19, 2021 — The Academy of Forensic Nursing is offering a free webinar on Wednesday, July 21 titled "Ethics in Forensic Nursing: Case Reviews and Discussion". While forensic nursing is shaped by standards of practice and best practice guidelines, there are many factors that contribute to ethical dilemmas in forensic nursing care. This webinar will seek to highlight and explore ethical issues from de-identified case studies from AFN members.

Geared toward forensic nurses, advanced practice providers, and emergency department and health-care providers, the webinar will focus on ethical factors at play surrounding agency, autonomy, and equity; will describe the ethical dilemmas in each case presented; and will help the viewer apply those learnings to their own practice.
